DESIGN STATEMENT

Contrary to the general pop-up store design approaches, a mysterious, semi-hidden inner world has been created with sculptural masses, in harmony with TAGG's niche stance. Primary benefit happens to be for the brand, TAGG, yet because the store itself perfectly aligned with its design manifesto.

The jury should find this project worthy because the space brought various aspects together such as space design, brand identity, social fabric of the clientele and melted them in one big pot. A striking, unique difference is the risk taken to limit the access to the store, a decision which, at the end, becomes the brand’s physical space character.

FORM

The world created in the store aligns with the brand’s design manifesto. The attitude of the brand’s fashion clues embodied itself in this space. Every object, every design decision is rather a part of the background or is a statement.

The cubical geometry at the entrance with its changing room function also affects the preservation of symmetry in the areas included in this semi-open setup. The symmetrical setup is completed with the triple armchair.

The poufs, hangers and a large mirror were used throughout the project as a continuation of the similar design elements.
